Wasting Food
I know every kid does it, but it really sucks when you finish cooking your 21 month old his breakfast (eggs n toast) and not even after 2 bites throws it on the floor. Especially since groceries are so expensive now a days.. I think I might have to buy a chicken LOL...just kidding..
Alot of times also, when he is done, he'll say "All Done" and then throw whatever is left on the floor within seconds of saving it.. We are trying to teach him to stop, and just say he is done and we'll get his tray! It just makes such a mess all over the place. We are constantly scrubbing floors n walls..
Ahhh I guess all we can do is cherish these "messy" moments, because we know they dont last forever♥. I still cant believe that my baby is going to be 2 years old, in 3 months..Its so hard to believe!

Time-Outs
I would say about a month or so ago, we started using the time out corner more seriously. We dont tolerate hitting anymore or any physical "abuse" so to say. If he hits, pulls hair, pinches, bites and things like that, he has a time out for 1-2 minutes.
In all honestly, we've noticed a big difference in his behavior. He doesn't seem to do it as much anymore. As soon as you mention "Time Out" he calms down. So I can truly say that it does works..
We have had to be SUPER consistent with it though, at first, to him it was all a joke.. He wouldn't take us seriously, and he would try to escape and laugh about it..Now he actually sits there and has his little time out. He sure is a cutie, so it was hard to discipline him, but we had no choice but to do something. I'd love to have a little bench made for him.
Has anyone else had luck with the Time Out method..?
